Guwahati-Bangalore Express, also known as Kaziranga Express is a tri-weekly super fast express train run by the Northeast Frontier Railway zone of the Indian Railways between Guwahati, Assam and Bangalore, Karnataka. It is named after the world famous Kaziranga National Park in Assam. Train numbered as 12509/12510, covers entire distance of 2992 km in 54 hours and 20 mins.The train runs with a massive load of 24 coaches with the count of ac coach being 9 (1A,2A,3A). It is one of those few trains amongst non rajdhani/ac express, with a high no of AC coaches. (viz- Gujarat Mail, Lucknow Mail, Jnaneswari Express etc.). ==Relevance== The train is named after the Kaziranga National Park in Assam.
